As a Muslim, I too would love to see the ummah united. 

But does such a unity mean giving blind support for a political coalition self-proclaiming to represent ‘Malay-Muslim interests’? I think not.

Because having a bunch of Muslims in your party doesn’t automatically make your party Islamic - just as using a bunch of ayaat from the Quran in your speech doesn’t automatically make your speech Islamic. 

Practice honesty, integrity and proper syura (consultation) with all the people of this country if sincerely you want to unite the ummah.

Until then, don’t try to guilt me or any other Muslim to support you in the name of religion. You have neither the right nor the legitimacy.
